- Impeachment? Can it really happen? B:100% R:0%
- Submitted By: lifewithryanI'm not going to get my hopes up here, but I'm pretty sure this isn't going to happen anytime soon. We've only got a year left, and granted, that's one year too long, but I really don't see the general population getting behind this...sad really.
- Impeachment is ridiculous, past and present B:0% R:100%
- Submitted By: KC9EVPLet's set the way back machine for 1995. Clinton had an affair with Lewinski (and many other women). People on the right whined for impeachment. OK, it was vulgar and he lied. However, was it worthy of impeachment. Probably not. He started a vietnam style war where a dead soldier was dragged through the streets. Again I ask was that impeachable? Probably not. Clinton was an idiot. A suave idiot, but an idiot none the less. Bush isn't any better. Not articulate at all. The Iraq war was truly not for oil. If it was why don't we have more? The only good to come out out the war was a people are now freed from a tyrant and he paid for his crimes against humanity. I ask is he impeachable? No. Imperfect at best. I find myself in the middle. Not a republican or democrat. I sincerely hope Hillary does not get elected and that no other Bush tries. We are a two party nation not a two family nation. As of now I am leaning towards Giuliani.

- Submitted By: Ek0nomikWe've been in Iraq since September 2002. We've seen thousands of military deaths, thousands of civilian deaths, thousands of military injuries, and thousands of civilian injuries. With Clinton, he ordered bombings in Iraq for, what, a week if I am not mistaken? He also sent American troops to Yugoslavia to assist NATO in the bombings there. Yes, to assist NATO. He didn't go in alone. Now is a good time for this I think: http://www.youforgotpoland.org/mjames/yfp/slides/youforgotpolandBush01.jpg Under the Clinton administration, we also saw the first projected federal budget surplus in, what, 30 years? Now, I am not an economics major, but having money in our pockets is a good thing. With money, you can do things like improve schools, fix the health care industry, etc. Without it, we ask other countries for money to fund our wars. The wars in which the supporters of it aren't willing to fight. The wars which middle class Americans fight, while the rich sit at home and read about it on their HDTV. A blowjob isn't any of my business, when my friends are being shot at, that *is* my business.

- Submitted By: dubbacOkay, I can't really follow that logic. People on the right whined about impeachment for something like a blow-job. People lives weren't at stake and we weren't hurting other countries or forcing them to get blow-jobs themselves. What Bush did was flat out lie, people have died, AND we're now in in the hole as a country with the dollar losing more and more value every day as a direct result of his leadership. Furthermore, when told by the UN not to invade, he ignored it and did his own thing anyway. Now, whoever gets elected in '08 is going to have to clean up that mess.
